Thanks to its extremely compact size, the filter can be installed directly inside the motor terminal block, as close as possible to the windings. This mounting position effectively intercepts transient overvoltages generated during motor start-up and shutdown, limiting their propagation along the cables and protecting contactors, PLCs, sensors, and other electronic devices connected to the system.
The star-connected varistor circuit responds quickly by absorbing voltage spikes and dissipating their energy, helping to increase system reliability and reduce the risk of failures caused by electrical disturbances.
Ideal for 50-60 Hz three-phase induction motors with a power rating of up to 4 kW, it is particularly suitable for applications where the switching frequency does not exceed one switch per second.
The filter comes complete with double-sided tape for mounting and wires with wire terminals for quick and easy installation.
